Blackwater, now known as Xe Services, had been hired to guard US diplomats in Iraq. The contractors maintain insurgents ambushed them in traffic but prosecutors allege they unleashed an unprovoked attack on civilians using machine guns and grenades.

All five had faced mandatory 30-year sentences. According to US government documents, one of the men, Nick Slatten, allegedly made statements that he wanted to kill as many Iraqis as he could as “payback for 9/11″ and repeatedly boasted about the number of Iraqis he had shot. But all charges were dismissed on Thursday.

“I was astonished by this decision,” said Wejdan Mikhail, Iraq's human rights minister. “There was so much work done to prosecute these people and to take this case into court and I don't understand why the judge took this decision.”

Dozens of Iraqis, including the estates of some of the alleged victims, filed a separate civil lawsuit in Virginia last year alleging that Blackwater employees engaged in indiscriminate killings and beatings.

Controversy surrounding the shootings led to major changes at Blackwater, which is based in North Carolina. Its senior management was replaced and the company's named changed. The Iraqi government refused to renew Blackwater's license to operate in the country.

Steven McCool, representing Donald Ball, one of the acquitted men, said: “It feels like the weight of the world has been lifted off his shoulders. Here's a guy that's a decorated war hero who we maintain should never have been charged in the first place.”

The moment in question began when Woods' wife had argued with him about affairs in the middle of the night before Tiger Woods took off in his vehicle. It appears that the “shaft” hit the fan. But what people may not be aware of is the moment when Tiger Woods realized that his past poor choices needed to change. The only person that would know this is Tiger Woods.

Norme Clarke, a columnist for Vegas Review-Journal, made a recent appearance on NBC Dateline unfolding what most already suspected. Clarke mentioned of Tiger Woods, Charles Barcley and Michael Jordan being surrounded by beautiful packs of women while in Vegas. Could Tiger Woods be staying away from anyone that encouraged him to “shake a tail” or in other words “shake a tale?”

To assume would seem obnoxious although it is not that far fetched.

Spike Lee suggests that if Michael Jordan can't get in touch with Tiger Woods than there's a problem. But most people know that when it comes to a situation, such as the one Woods is facing, high-profile advice may not be the best path to take and changing a phone number just may have more to do with “killing” the chance of other women calling the pro-golfer rather than dividing a positive friendship.

Charles Barcley suggested that Tiger Woods should rely on famous friends. Many would disagree since there's nothing like counting on hometown friends for once. However, it is not known if Tiger Woods is relying on hometown friends nor should it be. Charles Barcley has not gotten through to Tiger Woods since November 27th.

Tiger Woods released a statement through his website TigerWoods.com involving that he would do what it takes to fix his marriage, pick up the pieces that he has carelessly shattered in the past. Since that release Accenture has dropped Tiger Woods. The week of the release Gillette and AT&T are cautious in supporting the pro-golfer. Gatorade already planned on dropping Woods before the world learned of mistresses and escort services. But this all aside, Tiger Woods cell phone number has changed, he no longer accepts calls from a number that most likely made it to a bathroom stall in Vegas.

Question stands, is it smart on Tiger Woods' avenue to cut communication by changing his phone number?

Personally, if I were Tiger Woods under the same circumstances, I would have done the same. Would you have?
